You’re probably thinking what’s up with that page here? Well, there wasn’t enough space in the application to write why I’d love to take that challenging position and work for you, so I decided to use that space provided for a link to blog or website. That’s my website, but I also have a travel blog (written in Polish though), so everything falls perfectly into place!
First of all, I wanted to emphasize how much I like your company. Pretty soon after I moved to Vancouver in February 2018 I have heard about your company (in MEC of course, where I currently work) and fell in love a bit with your clothes (I already have a few pieces and the quality is really great) and even more with the philosophy behind, planting trees, upcycling and sourcing responsibly. I’m going deeper and deeper into zero waste and planet-friendly lifestyle and working for a company that shares similar values is important to me.
As I’m looking for new professional challenges, I checked your career website to see if there’s anything I could add value to and I found the Content Coordinator position that’s sound like a perfect fit! Not only I love everything that is photography related, but I also have experience in event organizing, project management, content creation and being creative. Just to name a few projects I worked on, I’ve been co-organising a big (for over 300 people) annual hunting event in Poland for 3 consecutive years and managed all the logistics for few study visits in Sweden for participants of European project Life+ „Active protection of lowland populations of Capercaillie in the Bory Dolnośląskie Forest. One of the biggest challenges I had to face there was organizing fast and safe transportation for around 20 live capercaillies from North Sweden to South Poland. I succeeded and after that one, I strongly believe that impossible doesn’t exist. Everything is a matter of thinking out of the box and coming up with creative solutions!
Last, but not least, I spent a lot of time in the outdoors, love the Nature and care about Mother Earth. Oh, did I mention that I love Tentree clothing? You’ll see the proof below 🙂
